Welcome to the Newcastle Cricket Centre. The Newcastle Cricket Centre is the first cricket specific centre in the North East, and ranks as one of the top ten cricket centres in the UK.
The centre is built within the grounds of South Northumberland Cricket Club in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. With five individual lanes it comes fully equipped with the state-of-the-art video analysis and so provides an excellent environment for coaching and development.
With the ability to accomodate 6-a-side cricket the Newcastle Cricket Centre has hosted numerous indoor tournaments and runs annual Club Leagues and Business Leagues.
The Newcastle Cricket Centre offers excellent multi-purpose facilites and an extensive range of activity programmes to clubs, schools, associations and members of the public, for people of all abilities.
International Cricket Stars Come To Train
The Newcastle Cricket Centre had the great honour of providing training facilities for both the England and West Indies squads on 13th, 14th and 15th June whilst they were in the North East for the 5 day test match at the Riverside.
Never have we been so happy to see rain, but with the Durham indoor centre being used for hospitality, both teams needed a place train, and we were more than happy to be able to provide them with the perfect facility!
