Business League
The Newcastle Business Cricket League is a great way to build the team morale of your staff, help devlop business and customer relationships even further in a social environment, make new or renew old business contacts through the teams you will be playing against as well as keeping fit during the winter months whilst having great fun.
The Newcastle Business League runs from October to December with seven weeks of league cricket to then be followed by a week of semi finals and then a finals week.
Teams will play one game each week lasting for approximately one hour with the game being held at one of four start times, these being 7pm and 8pm on both Monday and Tuesday. Click here for full details of rules.
Games are 6-a-side and teams can be made up from staff, customers, business contacts as well as friends and family. The Business League is all about enjoyment, fun and participation therefore it doesn’t matter if you play cricket regularly, haven’t play for years, have only ever played a few times or never played cricket before it is open to everyone aged over 14, male or female.
Two umpires will be provided and a bag of cricket equipment will be available for players to use each evening if required.
